In electric skillet put olive oil, butter, rice, onion, vegetables, garlic and oregano.  Cook until vegetables are just unfrozen.  Add meat, Worcestershire, honey mustard, and Tabasco. Cook until all are heated through.  Spice's can be adjusted to your taste but the sweet and spicy makes this dish "kick".)

Sensory Sandwich

Spread
Mix 1/4 to 1/2 cup of mayonnaise, with spicy mustard, dry mustard, cayenne pepper, Tabasco, salt/pepper, and garlic clove to your taste.  (You may also add/delete your own ingredients but this is part of the magic of this sandwich.)

Bread
Choose a solid bread such as potato, ciabatta, etc.  Enough for 4 sandwiches.

  • 1-2 TBSP Olive Oil
  • 1/2 Green Pepper Cut in Very Small Chunks
  • 1/2 Red Pepper Cut in Very Small Chunks
  • 1/4 Onion Cut in Very Small Chunks
  • Cajun Turkey Slices (Found in Your Deli) or Like Spicy Meat
  • Pepper Jack Cheese Slices or Like Spicy Cheese
  • Butter
  • Garlic Salt

Saute peppers and onions in olive oil.  (You will want enough of a mixture for about 2 TBSP per sandwich.)  Spread both sides of bread with spread mix.  Top with mounds of turkey slices, saute mixture and then cheese.  Butter both sides of outside of bread and sprinkle with garlic salt.  Then grill until bread is brown and cheese is melted. SERVINGS:  About 4

NOTE:  Very hearty sandwich that touches all of your senses.

A "Meal" from a Suddenly Salad (Semi Home-Made)

  • 2 Packages of Caesar Suddenly Salad - Prepared per Package
  • 1 Green Pepper Cut Into Bite Size Chunks
  • 1 Red Pepper Cut Into Bite Size Chunks
  • 1/2 Onion Cut Into Bite Size Chunks
  • 1 Head of Romaine Lettuce Cut Into Bite Size Chunks
  • 1/2 Pound of Spicy or Italian Sausage Cooked
  • Seasonings to Taste (I used Tastefully Simples Garlic Pepper Seasoning).

Mix all ingredients together in large bowl and serve.  Recommend serving with garlic bread.  SERVINGS:  4 with some leftovers.

NOTE:  This can be very economical if you watch for sales.  I bought 2 Suddenly Salads for $3 and sausage is on sale quite frequently.  This is also great for pot lucks.  When not used as a main dish there are more servings.
